9 In Faith

Scripture Sunday: {Free Indeed!}

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.  (John 8:36)

I am so thankful for the freedom that I have as a child of God.  I am a new creation in Christ, and therefore I am no longer bound to the things that held me before His love tore down the walls of my heart.  I have been saved, healed and delivered by the One who desired me from the beginning.  I have been set free!

Free from sin.

Free from guilt and shame.

Free from death.

Free from a life of trying to please everyone.

Free from feelings of unworthiness.

Free from striving for perfection.

Free from fear and worry.

Today I am rejoicing in the freedom I have in Christ.

What freedom in Christ are you thankful for today?

    Me too Barbie!  I am grateful for the freedom I have to live a NORMAL life!  For many years I was so tormented by fear that I couldn’t do simple things like driving, movies, CHURCH, grocery stores, etc … without torment.  Hallelujah!  Jesus is our Deliverer!

    Amen….free indeed! I now have a song stuck in my head that goes like this: “I am free to run, I am free to dance, I am free to live for you, I am free” Oh to run, dance and live for Jesus and free to do so!!!
