You Are Forgiven

My Beautiful One,

Your heart is heavy this morning as your mind is racing with thoughts of why didn’t I, how could I have and what will people think?”  Your shoulders fall under the weight of these thoughts that your mind refuses to let go of.

“You should have done better.”

“You should have not said anything.”

“You should have ran the other way.”

“Why did you do it?”

I want to remind you this morning that the heaviness that you carry is not yours to keep.  These feelings of guilt and shame were taken with Me to the cross.  I paid the price.  For all of it.  For every wrong move, selfish motive, and hasty decision.  For every unclean thought, impure motive and misguided judgment.  It was all nailed to the cross, as I held them in the palm of my hand, refusing to let go. Refusing to let you go.

The next time you feel guilt and shame, will you remember that I took it all.  Will you remember my nail scarred hands, and the blood that was shed.  It was all for you. You no longer need to hold your head in shame.  You no longer need to listen to those negative thoughts that tell you that you are no good, unclean, impure.

You need only remember that you are mine and that I bought you back with a price.

You are my Redeemed One.

You are pure and spotless in My eyes.

You are forgiven.

Forgiven and free.  For all eternity.

Until tomorrow,
