You are free. I have broken the chains that once held you captive. Yet, sometimes you feel like you must hold back, as if you are unworthy to walk forward, not good enough for the task at hand. I want you to allow My Words to wash over you as your mind is once again renewed to these truths:
You are no longer in bondage to sin.
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1)
My truth has set you free.
Jesus said, “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31-32)
I have delivered you. I will keep you safe.
Many are saying of me, “God will not deliver him.” But you are a shield around me, O LORD . . . From the LORD comes deliverance. (Psalm 3:2-3, 8)
Your heart praises me, because you are free.
Set me free from my prison, that I may praise your name. (Psalm 142:7)
I have rescued you because you love Me.
“Because He loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for He acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.” (Psalm 91:14-15)
I have saved you from death.
For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life. (Psalm 56:13)
You are free, because I have set you free. You are no longer bound to guilt and shame. No longer a prisoner of your past. You are not a slave, but My daughter, in whom I delight.
