The Weekend Brew: Strength & Joy

(photo source

 Splendor and majesty are before him;
strength and joy are in his place.
(1 Chronicles 16:27)

I’ve been seeking strength and joy this week.  I am tired and feeling weak.  As I sat and meditated for just a few moments today I came across this scripture.  He is always faithful to bring the Words and promises that I need at just the right time.  I had to pause and give Him thanks and praise.  “Oh Lord, our Lord, how majestic is Your Name in all the earth.”  This majestic God, full of beauty, delights to surround me with His very presence.  This is where I find my strength and my joy.  I must remain here, tucked away in the secret place, gazing on His beauty.

I would love for you to join me for Fresh Brewed Sundays.  This is where we share a scripture with just simple insight.  No heavy words necessary.  Feel free to use the button in your post and link up below!

    It is so true isn’t it, when we sit and are quiet before Him, he will lead to Scriptures, insights, etc.
    But so often I keep going…
    Praying you and I keep finding, keep seeking strength and joy in his place.

    I love when God opens Scripture up to me. Just knowing He is listen to us and answering us when we read His word is so comforting.
    I love the picture of the tree, it makes me feel so small.
