The Weekend Brew: Wait On The Lord

but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.  (Isaiah 40:31)

Are you in a season of waiting? Are you lacking in strength?  Be strong and of good courage and wait for the Lord.  Put your hope and trust fully in Him.  He will not fail you.

Now it’s your turn to share encouragement here at The Weekend Brew.

  4. Hi Barbie,

New to the link up. Waiting can be one of the hardest things to go through, but it can also be one of the most rewarding in that it helps us to build our faith and trust in the Lord and show us our own strength and perseverance. Love the song I will serve you While I’m Waiting.

Oh Barbie, this is one of my favorite bible verses and it’s one I would meditate on frequently when my hubby and I were going through our trial of unemployment. Waiting is always so hard, but it’s comforting to know God’s there to continually renew our strength through the darkest days. Love you, girl. 🙂

This is one of my favorite verses. It is the motto of my children’s school – our mantra when things weren’t going well, we had to just trust in God for the strength to continue – and the Eagle is now our mascot.

    Thanks for hosting!

Oh, I think we are usually always in some kind of “season of waiting.” Sometimes the seasons are just tougher than others. But, God is faithful and His timing is always right, even though we may not understand it. Blessings Barbie for a wonderful week!
