Day 28: The God of Hope

god_of_hope

This painting speaks to me of life, hope and restoration.  Notice the eye again.  And do you see the sun that is peeking through the clouds that are looming overhead, shining its light upon the raging waters below?

I believe that God would have us look into the eyes of hope today.  That hope is only found in Jesus Christ.  He is our joy, our strength, our ever present help in times of trouble.  It is possible for hope to abound, overflow, in our hearts despite our circumstances.

Look up today!  Lock eyes with the Maker of Heaven and Earth.  Look up to where your help comes from.  There is always hope, as long as we are looking up!

*This painting was done entirely with my hands.

Thank you Barbie. Here in the Netherlands storms terrible. I am concerned about the children who went to school. On the bike. another by bus, another by car. Let’s look up, yes. There’s alway hope.

Jedidya, it’s scary when our children go off into stormy weather. I know the Lord brings them through!
