Day 7: The Time of Singing Has Come

This painting was done at a time of grief and sadness.  I remember it was not quite yet Spring, and I couldn’t wait for it to get here, so that He would make all things new.  This was my first attempt at painting flowers, with my hands.  I think it’s significant that they appear to be springing up from the ground, when there are still clouds overhead.  The flowers, although colorful, do not appear to have blooms on them yet.

Do you need to be reminded today of God’s faithfulness?  Lift up your head and your voice and sing my friend.  Sing your sorrows, your joys and your dreams.  The time of singing has come.  You will bloom once again!

*This painting was done entirely with my hands.

I see flowers and an eye and tears. Beautiful again..May the healing rain of the Lord always wash away our sorrows in our time of need.
