2013 Year In Review
Happy New Year!
I thought it would be fun to put together a little year in review of some of my favorite posts on the blog. Hopefully they are some of your favorites too. If you haven’t had a chance to read them yet, I’d love for you to click the links and leave a note in the comments.
In January, I shared my One Word for 2013, which was really more like three words. My word “simply” was wrapped up in learning how to love, give and live simply. I shared a prayer at The Weekend Brew as we started the new year, and reminded us in five minutes of a God who promises to do it again.
In June I celebrated surviving my first year of homeschooling (while working full time!). We learned together to lean into the rhythm of His grace. But I was left somewhere in-between. Yet still, God brought me through.
October was all about art & Inspiration! If you haven’t had a chance to visit my October posts, I would love your thoughts in the comments there.
November began with a reminder of how the truth sets us free. It also brought the need for rest and a feeling of needing to be restored and revived in His presence. I ended the month with lots of coffee and Jesus!
December was all about celebrating the simple joys. I shared some of the simply joys that my family takes part in at Christmas time. I shared about the joy of letting go (can I get an AMEN?) and ended the month with a reminder of the simple joy of being loved.
I pray you have been blessed in this space this year. My heart’s desire is to continue to encourage you as I share my own journey, bringing you glimpses of His love and sprinkles of His grace along the way.
Happy New Year my friends! Thank you for following along in my journey. I am so grateful for each one of you!
