Oh friends, this has been a hard write week. I was afraid I would come up with nothing for my Weekend Brew post and then the Lord reminded me that there was a chapter in my book that hadn’t yet appeared on the blog. And it’s perfect for Father’s Day. I hope that it will bless you!
Coffee Talk With Jesus – Day 3
My daughter, trust Me when I tell you that I am a good Father. I know you’ve been searching your entire life for love and acceptance. You do not need to look any longer, for I, your Heavenly Father, love and accept you as you are.
My love for you is everlasting. I will never hurt or abandon you. I will never fail you, and I will never take my eyes off of you. Every tear that you’ve cried I’ve caught with my hands and placed in a bottle. I am well acquainted with your grief. I’ve been right beside you, even when you felt all hope was gone.
Cast off the lies that tell you that you are unlovable, unwanted and worthless. Will you look up today, my precious one, into the eyes of the One who will love you through all eternity?
You are not abandoned.
You are cherished.
You are not tossed aside.
You are treasured.
You are not unwanted.
You are chosen.
You are not unlovable.
You are My delight.
Lift your eyes, oh daughter of God, and begin to walk in your true identity as a chosen, desired, and loved daughter of your prefect Heavenly Father!
Happy Father’s Day my friends. May you know how very much you are loved today.
