The Comforter God

C_Comfort_600

God, you wrap your strong arms around me.
I am held securely in your embrace.
You speak words of love and comfort
when I feel lost and confused.

You breathe hope and life into my spirit
as you comfort me in all of my affliction.
Your mercy and grace consumes me
when I feel as though I may faint.

Your are the source of ALL comfort.
No matter what road one is walking on,
whether the pavement is smooth or rocky,
whether there is sunshine or rain,
You comfort those who are in desperate
need of You.

Strengthen me in Your comforting embrace,
Fill me with words of life and hope
so that I too might comfort those who are
suffering and in need hope.

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ. (2 Corinthians 1:3-5)
