Art Without The Mess With Kwik Stix // A TOS Crew Review
When my children were little, I have to admit that I was not quick to get out the paints and let their creativity run wild. While I loved looking at their artwork, the clean up was always something I dreaded. Over the last several weeks, my son, now 12, has been enjoying creating art with his new Kwik Stix 12 pk compliments of The Pencil Grip, Inc. The best part is, there is no mess!
About Kwik Stix
Kwik Stix look similar to glue sticks, but are solid tempura paint sticks. Simply remove the cap, twist the bottom to bring the solid stick paint up, and create to your heart’s content. No fuss, no mess, virtually no clean up. You won’t need any cups, water, smocks or brushes for your masterpieces. Kwik Stix have a fast drying formula that allows them to dry in just 90 seconds. They work great on poster paper, cardboard, wood and canvas, and come in an assortment of vibrant colors.
About The Pencil Grip, Inc.

We received a complimentary Pencil Grip in our package and my son has been using it and reports that his fingers don’t hurt as much after doing school work all day! I tried it out too, and it’s very comfortable to use.
How We used Kwik Stix
My son was excited to use the product and decided he wanted to use them to create a banner for his room of the Solar System. Here he is working hard on his project:
And here he is with the finished project:
The color goes on very smooth and are very vibrant. There were some areas where he wanted to blend colors, or overlay and make a contrasting, lighter color, but it was hard to do. You most definately receive a “pop” of color when using these products and you don’t have to press hard. As the project went on, my son was able to figure out how to layer color by applying one, and then another on top of or next to the other. And to my heart’s delight, the banner was dry in about 90 seconds! He had fun and enjoyed creating this project.
Here is another project he created:
My son loved working with his Kwix Stix 12 pk. As one who doesn’t like to get his hands dirty with art, he was happy to oblige me in creating some beautiful masterpieces.
If you are looking for a fun and easy way for your children to create art without the mess, look no further. Give Kwik Stix by The Pencil Grip, Inc. a try. You will never hesitate to allow them to do art projects with paint again!
