Seeking The Simple Joys // Glimpses v. 2
My grandson is teaching me a lot about joy. He’s so full of life and embraces each and every day with wide-eyed wonder. I love watching his eyes light up at new discoveries. He finds so much joy in the simplest of things — a pile of dirt, a leaf, a book, Winnie the Pooh, running through the grass and playing with rocks.
Children embrace life with arms wide open. Each new discovery fills them with joy and a sense of adventure. They aren’t afraid to sit in the dirt and pick up the rocks. Their eyes are looking deeper, past what they can see in the natural, into the fullness and possibilities of what lies underneath.
I want to be like a child, to embrace each day with wide-eyed wonder and joy. My prayer is that God would continue to open my eyes to the beauty and simple joys that He’s placed right in front of me.I want to be like a child, to embrace each day with wide-eyed wonder and joy. #glimpsesofhisbeauty Click To Tweet
