Day 31: The Path Of Life

Path_of_life

Well, here we are at Day 31 of my series on art & inspiration.  I truly hope that you were blessed and inspired by my art.  This series really helped me to value myself as an artist.  I so appreciate all of your wonderful comments and can’t thank you enough for following me here and on Instagram every day this month.  Many of you have asked about prints and cards of my art.  I am working on a little something, which I hope to unveil in January!

This is another example of a painting done with a partner. You can clearly see my style, with the curves and flows in this painting. My friend painted the beautiful tree and helped make this piece the beauty that it is.

*This painting was done with a partner.  My contribution was done with my hands.

Be sure to visit again tomorrow, as I will be introducing my November Inspired blogger.  You will love her.

Late Friday night, I will post the linkup for The Weekend Brew.  Be sure to join me!

And on Monday, I have a few announcements and hopefully a little surprise to share!

Day 30: Many Waters Cannot Quench Love

Waters Cannot Quench Love

I asked my oldest daughter to give this painting a title, as I was struggling to see what God would say through it.  In it she saw God’s love overcoming the power of flood waters.  His love is greater than anything we could ever face in life.  Nothing we can ever do, nor any circumstance we could ever face will ever be greater than His love for us.

*This painting was done entirely with my hands.

Day 29: Untitled (what do you see?)

Untitled2

I painted this a couple of Sundays ago at church.  It was my first time painting on a black canvas during corporate worship.  I love the vibrancy of the colors!  I chose to leave this painting untitled, not because I couldn’t think of a name, but because I wanted to know what you thought.  Obviously, I see fire, and could have picked a number of scriptures to go with it.

I would love to know what you see when you look at this painting, and what scripture you feel goes along with it.  I can’t wait to hear your thoughts!

Day 28: The God of Hope

god_of_hope

This painting speaks to me of life, hope and restoration.  Notice the eye again.  And do you see the sun that is peeking through the clouds that are looming overhead, shining its light upon the raging waters below?

I believe that God would have us look into the eyes of hope today.  That hope is only found in Jesus Christ.  He is our joy, our strength, our ever present help in times of trouble.  It is possible for hope to abound, overflow, in our hearts despite our circumstances.

Look up today!  Lock eyes with the Maker of Heaven and Earth.  Look up to where your help comes from.  There is always hope, as long as we are looking up!

Day 27: A Door Standing Open In Heaven

Door_in_heaven

This simple painting reminds me of a door, perhaps like the one in heaven.  I can see His light, His glory and His life shining through.  I can only imagine what it will be like to walk through the door of heaven one day, straight into the presence of Jesus, forever.

*This painting was done entirely with my hands.
