A Beautiful Bride (Song of Solmon, Chapter 6) — 2 Comments

  1. Barbie, this is SO meaty.  It isn’t something someone can read quickly and respond.  I think I’m going to have to read again and ponder on what you shared.

I can’t remember the name of that comedian (Mark somebody) who traveled with the Gaithers (sp?), but he did a skit  on this scripture and drew a picture of each piece.  It didn’t make for a lovely woman:  Your hair is like a flock of goats going down from Gilead. Your teeth
are like a flock of sheep which have come up from the washing; every one
bears twins, and none is barren among them. Like a piece of pomegranate
are your temples behind your veil. (Song 6:5c-7)

Ok, back to read this again.
