A portrait of a Godly woman – {guest post}

Allied WomenI am excited to be guest posting again over at Allied Woman.  Today, I am discussing the Proverbs 31 woman.  Here’s a little teaser of what you can expect:

The Proverbs 31 woman is a picture of a beautiful, talented, smart and energetic woman.  She is one who is well loved by those around her adored by her family and seems to have it all together.  At times, I have been overwhelmed as I’ve tried to live up to the standards of this “wife of noble character”. However, the characteristics of the Proverbs 31 Woman are ones that ALL women can strive for, no matter their sphere of influence.  This woman is not your typical exhausted and frazzled housewife, who is consumed by dirty dishes and piles of unfinished laundry.  Nor is she the overly ambitious career woman, who burns the midnight oil outside the home, leaving her family to care for themselves.

Will you head on over to Allied Women to read the rest of my post?  And be sure to leave me a comment so that I know you stopped by!

    So very very true. Thanks for putting a spring in my step today. Proverbs 31 is the most ‘dog-eared’ page of my Bible. The place I go most often when I’m feeling overwhelmed with the responsibilities of everyday, family life. The place I go regularly to inspire me to raise my standards in my own life. Thank you for bringing it into my day today and inspiring me as I go on with the massive ‘to-do’ list ahead.
