Weekend Whispers

The Weekend Brew: Holy, Holy, Holy

Each of these living beings had six wings, and their wings were covered all over with eyes, inside and out. Day after day and night after night they keep on saying,

“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty—
the one who always was, who is, and who is still to come.”  (Revelation 4:8)

I‘ve been thinking about worship and about eternity.  I love to be in the presence of the Lord.  As a singer in the House of Prayer, I consider it an honor and privilege to get to lift my voice to the Audience of One, joining with the hosts of angels as they cry “Holy, Holy, Holy”.  Can you imagine what heaven is going to be like?  Living forever with God, declaring His worth for all eternity.  In that day, we will see Him as He is.  It blows my mind.  He is worthy.  He is holy.  There is none like Him.

I would love for you to join me for Fresh Brewed Sundays.  This is where we share a scripture with just simple insight.  No heavy words necessary.  Feel free to use the button in your post and link up below!

There are some songs that lift me straight up to the throne. Holy, Holy, Holy by Kari Jobe is one of those. We sing it in our worship services and one time, while going through a sermon series on Revelation, the Spirit of the Lord was so strong I don’t believe there was a dry eye in the sanctuary. Can you imagine what it will be like when we get to Heaven – forever in His presence?

And I’m sorry my entry doesn’t have a photo. I hit something wrong and it didn’t crop my picture. I had all kinds of attacks just trying to write this post. Ridiculous.

    Love you!

This post brought to mind the hymn, Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty that I grew up singing and while it didn’t necessarily mean anything to me at that time, it was just mere words. Now, it’s such a praise to the One that saved me, and keeps me. Praise the Lord! Blessings this Lord’s Day!
