The Weekend Brew: Strength In Numbers
“For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.”
(Matthew 18:20)
There is strength in numbers. We were not meant to walk this journey alone. I am so thankful to God that He has put in my path people that encourage me when I feel weak and continually draw me closer to Jesus.
Friends, I am thankful for YOU! You take time out of your busy day to stop by this space and encourage my heart through your comments. When we gather ourselves together in community, truly God’s Spirit does reside. We need each other. I never realized when I began my blogging journey nearly five years ago how much life could come through an on line community.
Today, I am grateful for each one of you!
Are you blessed to have an online community which strengthens, supports, encourages and breathes life into your spirit? Will you share in the comments below your experience?
Now it’s your turn to share encouragement here at The Weekend Brew.
1. Write a post, or share one from earlier in the week, that encourages and brings life.
2. Grab the button from my sidebar to use in your post, or simply link here.
3. Visit the person who linked up before you (and a few others if you have time).
I have been blogging a year-and-a-half and it has been such a blessing, especially the comments. You get to know your readers and often a conversation occurs as ladies share with each other. Thanks so much Barbie for this blog and also the linkup this week.
Thankful for you Judith! Have a blessed week.
Hi Barbie. This reminds me how I have learned so much in my blogging ministry through link-ups like this :)! Yes, I am learning a lot from other like-minded bloggers and they wouldn’t know how much their, my readers’, comments so encourage me!
Thank you for this community where we can share our hearts and lives :).
Blessed to have you Rina!
So grateful a community of believers. So grateful to be able to read and link up. Meeting others so lifts my day.
Blessings and thanks for the linky,
Janis – Author of Tadeo Turtle
Thank you for stopping by Janis! I look forward to paying your blog a visit!
I enjoy blogging and love the wonderful women I’ve met through it. An online community I love and am deeply involved with is Ravelry, a social network for knitters, crocheters and spinners. A group I am a part of on Rav is a group of strong, committed Christians who not also share our love of fiber but our prayer requests praises and everything else under the sun. A dozen of us actually met up this summer and spent five wonderful days together.
Sounds like you have a beautiful community of women surrounding you Elizabeth. How wonderful! Have a blessed week.
I am thankful for you too, Barbie, and for this lovely community you have built. Thanks for hosting & God bless!
Thank YOU Laurie. Blessed to have you along on the journey.
So glad God put you in my path, Barbie! Have a blessed and restful Sunday. BTW-love your new profile pic!
Thank you Susan! I am thankful to have you in my life as well. And the profile pic is actually an old pic of me. Somehow my account is pulling this picture. Thanks for stopping by!

You’re welcome Deb. So thankful to have you! I thought I left a comment on your blog, but I didn’t see it. I’ll try again!
I already told you how much I loved this post this morning… but I had to come back tonight to let you know how inspiring your blog has been to your friends. Your blog was shared with my ‘it’s a small world blog hop’ today with a sweet comment from Michele-Lyn! xo
Oh my heart, I love Michele-Lyn! I love you too! I am humbled, and honored. And I love this blog hop idea. I am going to run over to your blog soon, hop around through comments and link up a new blog find! Thank you friend!

Hi hon,
It is an amazing community and you too have blessed me so much. I just think it is awesome to make online friends all over the world and to have the same thing in common, Jesus. The bond is deep.
Hugs to you my sister,
<
I am blessed by you, continually, and thankful I got to hug your neck!
Oh sweet sister… our mutual love for things brewed, for the Lover of our souls, for community and truth and connection… how could we not become friends! I am oh so thankful for Community… often for me, ‘online’ Community is stronger and more ‘real’ than in real life! I am blessed to have both and honored to be a part in what God is building!
Me too! My online friends are closer to me than some of my IRL friends. I am blessed by you!
So thankful for you Barbie & your sweet, sweet spirit! Community is so the key to Kingdom Living…isn’t it, my friend! 🙂
So true, Jen! Honored to be in community with you!
I am so blessed to be in community with you. I will get to meet you and hug your neck one day! And we will be able to talk long over some fresh brew. 🙂 Love you!
Love you back my friend. You’re on the top of my “most inspiring women to meet one day” list!
