Chase: A DVD Based Bible Study Review — 12 Comments

  1. Thank you for visiting my site. I just love yours. It’s so elegant and easy on the eyes. I am the only lady in the house with three sons, a husband, and two male pups. 🙂 Haha. It’s so nice to escape to a girly place like this. Love it. Your writing is gorgeous too. I love this post on “Love”. Thanks for taking the time to comment on my post. Blessings!

    • I love the simplicity of this one. Yet, it’s very deep, if that makes sense. And the photography on the DVD’s is gorgeous!

    • I love DVD studies. I makes me feel more like a facilitator. I don’t like to teach. 🙂 The other DVD study I would highly recommend is Captivating. I blogged about several of those segments on my blog early on.

  2. Wow, Barbie- I was recently contacted to review this one and I am glad to hear your review. I wanted to do it at my home with a few ladies. So cool that you already did it! I have done a few studies on David and appreciate the lessons from his life.

    • I did it alone, in my living room, because I didn’t have time to pull the friends together. I cried alot. I do intend to do it as a small group study in the Spring!

  3. Good morning from Athens, Greece dear Barbie! Your page has been so encouraging to me as I see myself through the words you write in your posts. I am at a place in my life where I am seeking His guidance and direction. Only when abiding in Him we are truly content. Nothing and no one else can fill the gaps, desires, etc that are deep in our heart. Searching around us (I am talking on a personal level) only brings confusion and lots of brokeness… ( like the prodigal son). We may go our own way, do our own things, pursue our dreams which may not be what He has for us. All things may seem as if they are going great and as we move further away from Him, we come to the point where we feel totally empty, broken, lonely etc. May God bless you and your family. Your posts are such an encouragement to me as I am a broken vessel at the moment surrendering my will and broken piece to Him and waiting for Him to make me whole again.

    • Natasha, I am so thankful that you are able to visit my blog and be blessed. We are all broken vessels, but He can use us for His glory! Amen!
