Day 22: The Eyes of the Lord

This was painted at our church’s prophetic conference a few weeks ago.  After I was done with the painting, I wasn’t sure how to interpret it.  But someone pointed out to me the eyes in the painting. There are four of them.  The one in the top left corner is mostly gold and did not photograph as well, but it does appear to be an eye on the original.  Each of the eyes is facing a different direction:  The one in the upper left corner is looking up; the one in the center is looking straight ahead; the one in the lower left corner is looking to the left, and the one in the lower right corner is looking to the right.

This reminded me of the scripture in 2 Chronicles where the eyes of God move about the whole earth, searching for those whose hearts are completely His. When the eyes of God are fixed on the place where I am standing, I want Him to see me, and see that my heart belongs to Him, fully and completely.

*This painting was done completely with my hands.

Yet again…love! I can so feel His eyes upon me too. If there is a blessing to be found in this upcoming deployment (and I’m confident He will give me many) it’s how He is drawing me even closer to Him. Love you!!!!
