The Christmas season is officially upon us. It’s a season of wonder, of awe, and moments that take our breath away. It can also be a season of pain, of loss and stress as the demands of the season scream loud and clear, drowning out the voice of the One who we so desperately need to hear.
I don’t want to take this season for granted. I’m a busy woman, far too busy at times. And even though I am still struggling with so many things in my own life, I want to take the time to slow down and focus on the joys that truly are Christmas — family, friendship, faith and the simple gift of Jesus.
Each Tuesday in December, I will be focusing my heart on the simple joys of Christmas. I don’t want to miss anything. I want to look upon each moment that He gives to me with wide-eyed wonder, digging deep to find joy in all things. In ALL things. I will be sharing about how I embrace these joys, but most of all, I will be sharing about Him and how the simplicity of Christmas weaves it’s way into my heart in all things.
Will you join me friends? Will you come and interact with me here in the comments each week as we share the simple joys of Christmas together? I would love to have to come along with me on this journey.
Now it’s your turn to share encouragement here at The Weekend Brew.
