Journey To The High Places: In The Valley Of Loss (Week 13) — 10 Comments

  1. I had never heard of this book until you introduced it this summer. My awareness of all God does for us is much deeper as a result of being part of this study. I really like the quote above that says do not resist, resent or rebel no matter what comes your way. Words I will need to read over and over again. Much love to you!

  2. OH, how I love this story. Thank you for walking us through it. It is one of those books that every woman, no matter where they are walking, can be ministered to. Thanks again, friend.

  3. I absolutely love Hinds Feet on High Places! How many times have I read and lived out in my heart and mind the journey with Good Shepherd? Thank you for the beautiful reminders today!

  4. I think this may be my favorite chapter so far! It contains one of my all-time favorite quotes, “Love is beautiful, but it is also terrible – – ” and I love when it talks about being shaped so that nothing but the Shepherd Himself can fill our hearts. And even more, that we come to have a passionate desire, not for the things that God promises, but for God Himself! So glad to be reading this with you, Barbie!

    • This entire book is loaded with so many take aways. I feel I may have to read it again, at a calmer time in my life. So thankful you are taking this journey with me June!
