The Never Failing God

Have you grown weary?
Does the race seem long?
Do you find you lack the strength
to pick yourself up and begin again?

I’m right there with you.

But know this,

You do not walk alone.
God, the Never Failing God, is right by your side.
He has a plan…a perfect plan…for your life.

I know sometimes you cannot see the road ahead.
Your steps are met with rock and mud.
Your sight is blocked by fog and dust.

But know this,

You are not alone.
God, the Never Failing God, will bring you through.
He will make your paths straight.
He will make your footsteps sure.

You fight the urge to turn and run the other way,
because it would be easier to quite now
rather than leave goals unfinished or dreams unmet.

But know this,

He surrounds you on every side.
God, the Never Failing God, goes before you.
He follows after you,
He surrounds you.

He is there with His love.
He is there with His hope.
He is there with His strength.

He’s cheering you on, my friend.
Don’t give up. Don’t turn and run.
Resist the urge to quit before your breakthrough happens.

God will never leave you,
never forsake you,
never give up on you.
God’s love will never fail you.

I love this. He never fails. Reminds me of that beautiful line in the song Oceans. And reminds me of the numerous times He delivered me. 🙂

Beautiful and encouraging. Keep it up, girl. You must be on cloud nine – I mean the blessed cloud…~Chris

What a thought: if we give up now, it might be right before the breakthrough we were going to experience! God is so faithful to surround us with love and mercy. As always I love your graphic and your poem, friend. I wish we could sit down for coffee!
