There are times when I don’t feel heard. Whether it’s in a crowded room with a lot of people, or in a small work meeting, or at home with those closest to me. I share my opinions, the things in my heart, but those on the receiving end don’t appear to truly hear what it is I am saying.
There are days I just long to be heard, truly. My heart could burst with all of the feelings tangled up inside. I want to know that there is someone there who will listen and hear what I say.
A wise man once said,

To think that the God of the universe would give his undivided attention to my voice is mind boggling. But He does. He loves the sound of my voice, and yours too. He wants us to bring our prayers and petitions to His ear. He truly cares about what we say and will always hear our hearts.
When our requests are made with right motives, God will hear us. I always pray that God will help me to walk holy and upright before Him. I want to always be heard.
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. (1 John 5:15)

You, Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry. (Psalm 10:17)
