  1. Barbie,

I am so happy to read you are opening yourself up to greater healing and freedom. It’s hard and holy work. Praying God continues to give you glimpses of his great love for you and may you walk in greater healing and freedom. ((Hugs))

  2. Amen! God is merciful and loves nothing more than to extend it to us. He is kind, compassionate and willing to work in us even when we are not sure if we are worthy. He never gives up. Love you!

  3. My heart aches with you and for you, Barbie. I so identify with this – “I forget to focus on His free gifts of grace and mercy, which allow me to move on into places of freedom.” It’s amazing how patient and forgiving He is, isn’t it? Love and hugs to you!

  4. Even in the struggle, He is with us, friend. Like you, I am learning to open my heart more and more to His grace. Let us remember to preach the Gospel to ourselves every day. Grace and mercy, new every morning. May His love surround you today, Barbie. Blessings.

  5. I can find myself in this place too: “I forget to focus on His free gifts of grace and mercy, which allow me to move on into places of freedom.” But I love to return there. I’m so thankful his arms are always open and waiting!

  6. I think we all struggle with crossing the line from grace to works/the law. I’m glad he lovingly reminds me that it’s all about what He has done and not what I do.

    Praying you are well!

  7. Love this reminder of His “new every morning” mercies. I’m working on Psalm 92 right now which also trumpets God’s lovingkindness in the morning and his “faithfulness every night.”

  8. Barbie,
Why is it that we think we have to strive and earn the love that God so freely and graciously gives out – over and over again. We think we don’t deserve it and the truth be told….we don’t. But, God. But, God has covered that too. He’s covered our “don’t deserve it” with the blood of His precious Son on the cross. He died so that God could look past our “undeserving selves” and instead He just sees us as perfect through the blood of His Son. What a God we have!!
    Blessings and ((hugs)),
    Bev xx
