  2. Thank you for continuing more thoughts on God’s Reckless Love, and this great song! He is so good to us! And, I love how you have sandwiched in between all of the little glimpses, such an amazing gift from God: “498. The grace to let go of my mistakes and keep running the race.” It is His Reckless Love that enables us to find that grace, isn’t it? What great encouragement! Blessings to you!

  3. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could all love “recklessly” without worrying whether or not we’ll get hurt or whether our love is reciprocated!? I’m so thankful God continues to love me recklessly, even when I hurt of disappoint Him! Thanks for sharing, Barbie!

  4. I enjoyed reading his explanation of reckless love. This is so good: “His love isn’t cautious.” I want to love that way too, but I’m not there yet. God is willing to take a lot more risks than I am. 🙂 Thanks for sharing this, Barbie! I have listened to the song several times since last week as well. So beautiful.

  5. This way of describing God’s love reminds me of the Father in the Prodigal son story — and it also rebukes all my tendencies toward careful love that measures and keeps score and parses it out in tiny doses — only to the “deserving.” May our hearts overflow with God’s kind of love!

  6. Barbie,
I love to think of the reckless love of God – a childlike, running full speed forward, not counting the cost kind of love. Oh to think that He loves us like that flaws, failures, and all. His love always pursues no matter where we try to run. So thankful that we have a God like this. I loved the song and the explanation….thanks for sharing!
    Blessings,
    Bev xx
