Tell Others About The Beauty of God — 32 Comments

    • I thought I was just going to share images with words, but I’m quite enjoying jotting down some thoughts and see where it goes.

  1. Oh yes, under the rubble, HE shows me the beauty, too, my friend! I have had a rough week of FIBRO issues also, in response to a new medication, so I am keeping you in my prayers! How thankful I am that He sends others (like you) to remind me to look for those beauty-glimpses in my day! Gentle Hugs!

    • Hugs to you my friend. I’ve been in so much pain this week. Sometimes I can barely walk. My husband says it’s old age. I keep telling myself it’s my sugar addiction. But I know this pain is real. Blessings to you!

  2. Dear Barbie,
Thank you for this beautiful reminder to look deeper. I remember when I was in the midst of an awful time, one of my spiritual Mamas gave me such good advice: “Anna, look back for the hand of God upon you. Look to see signs of His Presence.” As I did that I saw how He had prepared me for the hard time, sent encouragers into my midst without them knowing why and even as the hard unfolded placed my grieving elderly neighbor on my heart, giving me a song to sing to her coming from the comfort my Lord was gifting me at the time. I will never forget those precious moments He showed me He was right there with me.

  3. Oh yes – there is always(!) beauty beneath the rubble…thanks for sharing some of your beauty with us today! The beauty always points back to God’s great faithfulness! Have a beauty-filled week!

  4. You have such a beautiful collection of remembrances to tell others about the glory of God, Barbie. Hard things, to be sure. But beauty from ashes. Thanks for sharing (telling!) with us.

  5. Love this. We think we see and experience God best in the “good times,” but so often it’s in the hardest and neediest times that we do.

Amen to # 643. That’s hard to come by at this “stage” of life.
