Day 11 {Door} – Finding My Way Back — 11 Comments

  1. I love the analogy of walking through doors. It brings to mind something great is on the other side even if it’s scary. I appreciate the encouragement of community as well and hope to walk through the door of self-publishing soon.

    • That would be awesome Sharon! I wish I had some tips to share, but I caved and hired someone to help me Looking forward to seeing how the process unfolds for you!

  2. I, too, am oh so grateful for the open door of Community in the blogosphere! I blogged all on my own for many, many years before realizing that there was a tribe (or tribes!) out there offering a space at the table and a sisterhood that helps to remind writers that they are not sitting in the chair all alone!

    • I’m thankful we met through blogging Karrilee! Would love to hang out with you in person one day. Imagine that! I Envision coffee, awesome worship and lots of laughs!

  3. Goodness, is it the 11th, already? I hadn’t thought of looking at the prompt today as something one goes through, but as something leading elsewhere. I love seeing how other people think about the same things.

I’m finding a little community through this challenge, too. Twitter, though, has been the real eye-opener for me. There are so many writers there, and so many of them are supportive.

    • This community has so many areas with which to connect. I don’t have much time to hang out on Twitter. It all moves so fast. But I love when I find new blogs to follow there. Thanks for stopping by Jae!
