Days 13 & 14 {Talk / Ask} – Finding My Way Back — 4 Comments

  1. I wanted to be a mom when I grew up and work with children’s ministry. I served in children’s ministry for 25 years. Lived every minute. I have four grown children and one grandchild. Loving the dream of being a godly grandma, gotta get more kids married off first. LOL.
The most defining moment Wes marrying a preacher and realizing that I have worth.
The hardest thing I have gown through and still struggling from was betrayal and rejection from the church and being forced to retire early.
I’m not really a longer but I’d spend as work with my husband in a cabin in the mountains.
Pray for my son who will be having a kidney removed in a couple weeks.

  2. Well you didn’t exactly ask, but just among friends here’s some answers. I’d love to hear yours, feel free to email me.
What did you want to be when you grew up? I played at being a doctor and believed I was a princess,
Are you living that dream today? I’m living a dream but not that dream.
What has been the most defining moment in your life? That’s a hard one. The first answer is accepting Jesus when I was 5 years old. But really getting to know him has been a process with many defining moments.
What has been the hardest thing you’ve had to walk through? We walked through financial difficulties years ago and I can remember almost wishing I was someone else or had someone else’s problems.
If you could spend a week alone, anywhere in the world, where would you go? I love time alone so anywhere would be fine. I’d have my books to read and time to pray. I think I would pick near a mountain stream or I could take a week at home alone and really organize my house. I love to be with my husband and my family, but alone time is good too!
As far as praying for me, you would be a wonderful person to pray that I would actually get my book published from this 31-day series on A to Z scripture. My prayer is that it will go out and reach the students that I taught years ago whi learned the verses with me and loved them as I did. I want all of them to come back to the Lord!
