There Will Be Surprises Along The Way
I’ve been on the journey for a little over 5 months now. I left the starting gate running hard, losing my first 17lbs in just 2 months. I’ve lost an additional 9lbs. but overall, my weight loss has slowed down. It’s easy to lose momentum when we settle in to a routine. The honeymoon phase is over and now the hard work must begin.

The surprise that I’ve dropped 2 complete pant sizes.
The surprise that my face is noticeably thinner.
The surprise that clients I haven’t seen for a year (tax office) have commented on my weight loss.
The surprise that I am beginning to like the person I see in the mirror each morning.
The surprise that I’m looking forward to continuing the journey.
It hasn’t been a perfect journey. You will not find hard-core, all or nothing here. I’m just a woman on a journey. There will be roadblocks, bends and curves at every turn, but I know that if I stick with it, I’m in for even greater surprises along the way.
What have you been surprised by on your journey? I would love for you to share in the comments so we can chat about it.
