  5. Wow what an encouragement. I really want to read this book for my daughter together with my husband. I think it's great you are sharing it with us! My church opted out of the study thinking it would bring out to many emotional issues in folks that our small group leaders might not be able to deal with. You are doing a great job and nailing the point on the head. My gifting is in intercessory prayer and so I'm a big believer in using the tools in spiritual warfare.
I can't wait for next weeks installment 🙂
    Best,
    Rebecca

  9. I have this book (bought it for a particular reason while planning a conference) I need to re-start it and finish it! I read fiction at night to fall asleep & need to remind myself to read more "good stuff" (other than the Bible) during the DAY.

Like the new look! (Secret: I just downloaded some new graphics and will be udpating mine soon…nothing wrong with it, just need a change) 🙂 Refreshing, isn't it??

  13. (It's fun watching your blog come together…I'm watching Hannah enter the coding right now)

Captivating is an excellent book. I really appreciate the shield of faith. There have been so many times when I've told me kids that they need to have faith to "extinguish the fiery darts of the evil one." We need to be firmly rooted and to have faith even when our present reality is difficult. Faith is looking beyond the present and believing in the future. The enemy seeks to destroy any inkling of faith.

    God bless you!
