Blogging has opened up the door of opportunity for me in ways I never would have imagined. When we take steps of faith to share our heart with the world, God is faithful to bring us through the open door. When we take steps of faith to share our heart with the world, God is faithful to bring us through the open door. #write31days Click To Tweet
One of the greatest doors I have walked through is the door of community. I think I may have mentioned the importance of a strong online community in every post in this series, but it really does keep me going. Blogging has widened my community and brought friendship to my door. The encouragement I receive here is ongoing, and keeps me smiling on those lackluster days (and we all have them).

Another door God has brought me to is the door of self-publishing. I was fearful to walk through that door. I didn’t believe anyone would want to hold my book in their hands, but I put aside my fear and did it and others have been blessed. I may have another book or two up my sleeve but I’m not rushing things. It’s all in God’s timing.
I’ve also had the opportunity to walk through the door of guest posting. I wouldn’t have ever imagined another blogger or website would want to share my words. It’s humbling to get asked to share and I’m so thankful for the opportunities. I even got to guest write for (in)courage back in 2012. That post was titled, “How’s Your Reach“. That was a scary door to walk through. So many amazing writers there. In return, I’ve opened up the door of my online home to feature multiple guest writers over the years. Here are a couple places I’ve been privileged to guest write for in the past. Both of these ladies have beautiful sites!
What doors have you walked through in your blogging season?
