Oh sweet friends, first may I just tell you how much I am blessed by your comments, Facebook notes, encouragement and prayers. Even in my season of still, as the writing has slowed down, your love has increased. And for that, and for each of you, I am truly grateful. This community of women whose hearts long for Jesus just as much as I do is such a gift to me.
I don’t normally blog on Sundays, but I wanted to take a quick minute to share with you my vision for the blog for at least the next three months. I’ve been praying and asking the Lord how best to utilize this space, while still processing through all that He is teaching me. I am excited to share with what is up ahead!
I have met so many amazing writers and I love to share my space. So I put the word out there asking for guest bloggers and am delighted to have some amazing women lined up to share their heart with you in this space on Wednesdays beginning March 5th. *If you currently blog, and are interested in being considered to write a guest post, please contact me. I still have a few spots available for my “featured friend” series.
I have been reading Emily Freeman’s A Million Little Ways: Uncover the Art You Were Made to Live and it is rocking my world in so many ways. Yet, at this season in my life it’s been hard for me to process what I am learning. So I decided to blog my way through the book, as a way to record all that God is showing me about what it means for my life to be living art. Emily has so graciously agreed to allow me to use quotes from her book, and it is my hope that as I share my own journey of becoming, and living the art I was created to live, you will also be encouraged to become the living art that God has created you to be!
The Weekend Brew will continue with a link up beginning late Friday night or early Saturday mornings. I aim to make these posts shorter, but still filled with the beautiful fragrance of Jesus! I love the community that has gathered in this space as we link up encouraging and faith filled words to bless one another. The linky is open through Tuesdays so you have plenty of time to link up. Thank you for joining me in this journey.
*I may sneak in a Five Minute Friday post along the way, as God allows. 🙂
So that’s it! Two days of committed blogging from me, and one guest post from a friend. I am looking forward to continuing this journey of still before the Lord, learning how to be in His presence and waiting on Him for the next step in my writing journey.
