  1. Beautiful my friend! How I love quiet time outdoors tending to God’s beautiful gift of flowers; it is such a peaceful time to escape and be nourished and blessed by all the beauty that surrounds us. Spending quiet time with our Lord is vital to our spiritual growth, and this is one of my favorite places to seek Him and to spend time alone in His Word and in prayer. ♥

Delightful to see you here Joan; blessings and love dear friend!

  2. Joan- this post blessed my heart for I am a gardener too, and often feel close to the Lord with my hands in the dirt- and find it is a time when He can speak things into my life that I might not otherwise hear.
Thanks for a lovely post- and I am glad Spring has sprung in your part of the world.
I am inside wrapped up warmly as a howling wind buffets the house. Winter is nearly here, downunder,

  3. Joan this is beautiful. I wish I enjoyed gardening. I love spending time there. Thankfully Rev enjoys gardening. I’ve just never liked dirt. I may have to rethink that! Blessings!!

  4. Good morning, Beth! I was just on my way over to read your Three Word Wednesday post when I saw your comment here! What a great way to start my morning…yes, I’m up early – 4:45! Yikes! I love how over the years my relationship with the Lord has grown. He has carried me through both tough and easy times and through it all has continued to shape me. I am so thankful that the time I spend with Him always nourishes our relationship. What a blessing!

  5. That song is one of my favorites. I actually just shared on my last Friday Randomness post. It’s truly beautiful. And this post, friend, BEAUTIFUL! While I’m not very good with tending to a garden, your words are so true that like tending to a garden we need to tend to our relationship with Christ. I do want that relationship to flourish. Love you. Love you both. I love seeing you together here.
