Pursing Love – Love is Kind — 16 Comments

  1. Very eye opening post. I remember reading that a truly kind person would take the time to look at those in the service industry, learn their names, and initiate a real conversation with them, calling them by name. That reminds me of your first point, and in a rush I just blurt thank you and leave. I want to be kind and a light, and you give a great challenge as I read your post!

  5. Hi Barbie,

Isn't this process difficult? We think we're loving and kind, but when the magnifying glass gets put on us we see the flaws. I'm thankful the Lord knows our hearts and that sanctification is a process that He designed to take a lifetime.

Thanks for participating again this week. See you on Monday!

  9. "I don't want to allow my circumstances, or the fact that the day got the best of me, to dictate how I treat myself or others."

Neither do I, but I fall way short in this area more often than I care to admit.

    Thanks for the encouragement.

    Sweet dreams.

  13. Hi Barbie. I can relate. Not my post from this morning, but the one before that is about love. I have been convicted about seeing everything through the eyes of LOVE. Ouch. I fail putting everything through a filter of love.

    Thanks for sharing!

    Love,
    Beth
