Joy To The World // Weekend Whispers

Joy to the world, the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,
and Heaven and nature sing,
and Heaven and nature sing,
and Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing.

I sing this song every year at Christmas time.  Joy to the world.   And I stop and I ask myself, “Am I allowing the JOY that is Christmas to flood my heart as I prepare to receive Him?”

What promise in His Name are you most clinging to today?

Over the last four years, I’ve said that more often than I am sure my children would like to hear. It’s hard to keep a balance between wanting to give your children the desires of their
