Where Do I Go From Here?

You guys (well, most of you are gals I suppose), this returning to blogging thing is hard work. I’ve tried three times now to come out of hibernation and something (many things perhaps) keep pulling me under.

My attempt to come back during the Write28Days challenge in February was a failure. I thought I would pick up where I left off…but now it’s nearly June so I don’t think that will happen.

Some would say, “perhaps you are not suppose to write”. And while this may be true, I need to say that I realize my blogging will never be what it once was 10 years ago. Then I was writing 3-4 days a week, joining countless link ups (hosting my own as well) and spending hours building community through blogging. I don’t have it in me to do it again at that level. So while perhaps I’m not meant to write and share my heart as I once did, I do still miss the community, and I miss having an outlet and sharing my heart with others. Many of you have stuck here, even when I disappear, and it’s for YOU that I attempt to come back at all.

With that said, how to go about resurrecting my passion for sharing my life is the question. This here is a lifestyle blog, which means I can basically write about anything. I thought perhaps I’d share recipes from my favorite Pioneer Woman Cookbooks. Perhaps I’d share my skin and haircare routine, or other products that I love. It’s really open ended but I do know this…I am not ready to disappear entirely just yet.

If you are still here, thank you! I welcome your thoughts and suggestions.

Have a beautiful weekend.

Barbie, I’m glad you’re still here. I don’t write as much on my blog as I used to, either. I started well with #Write28Days but never finished. And now I post every other week or less. Sometimes I get inspiration and post more often. I like your ideas of sharing recipes, products you use and your skin and haircare routine. All those are things probably a lot of us would be interested in, especially if you’ve found things you like. I look forward to seeing what you come up with. Blessings to you!
